So the first ever Twestival Kraków / Cracow (and the first Twestival Poland) is over. It was a great experience and we're definitely happy that we could participate in the event.
What amazed us?
The positive response we got from the local community. Tons of help from the Betel Club where the Twestival took place, a lot of support from TEDxWarsaw team and the great last-minute cooperation with Polish Humanitarian Action. It was really late when we approached them but nevertheless they did all they could to make Twestival Cracow happen. It's crazy to say that but not all NGOs were so felxible.
Next year we'l try harder, we'll start planning in advance (as opposed to few days before March the 24th) but we'll keep the very same enthusiasm and belief that social media can be utilized in tons of different ways - raising funds and awareness around global and local issues being one of them.
See you next year!
